Full day trip from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou Ksar and Berber villages

Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou is one of the most spectacular sights along the valley of the Kasbahs, in Morocco. It is on the Unesco World heritage list, located in the Ouarzazate province along the old caravan trade route between Marrakech and the Sahara.

The Ksar of Ain-Ben-Haddou is a fortified city made up of six kasbahs  and almost 50 smaller ksour.

It has been used as the backdrop for several Hollywood films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia and is an excellent example of South Moroccan architecture.

Kasbah Telouet is one of the most extraordinary sights of the Atlas with its crumbling walls and stunning mosaics. Built in the 1800’s by the Glaoui family, the kasbah enjoyed a prosperous strategic position on the trans-Saharan trading route

The city of Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Morocco is only 30 km from this village. It is a very tranquil and lying back city. Possibility to visit Kasbah of Taourirt (stronghold fort) represents the Berber architecture.

Along the way through the mountains, we are stopping to take photos and admiring the High Atlas Mountains. Crossing a spectacular pass Of Tizi-n-Tishka (2260m alt).

After lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate, we head back to Marrakech.
