Day 1: Marrakeh to Ouarzazate
Our adventure begins in vibrant Marrakech. We travel south through the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, enjoying out-of-this-world panoramic views. Explore the
UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous from films like «Lawrence of Arabia» and «Gladiator.» We spend the night in Ouarzazate, the «Hollywood of Morocco.»
Day 2: Ouarzazate to Erg Chebbi Merzouga
On day two, we traverse the lunar landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, reaching the lush oasis of Agdez before continuing to the fertile Draa Valley, known for its date palm groves. Witness ancient irrigation systems still in use today. In Rissani, visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif. Then, a
camel caravan takes you to your luxurious desert camp in Erg Chebbi to enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the starry desert sky.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Merzouga to Rissani
Enjoy a leisurely day in the Sahara. Explore the dunes by 4×4 car and experience the mesmerizing rhythms of a Gnaoua musical group. For food enthusiasts, taste a traditional «Madfona,» a savory meat pie cooked in the sand. Return to your desert camp for another night under the stars.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi Merzouga to Dades Gorges
After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and head towards Eljerf, known for its ancient irrigation systems. We’ll visit the charming town of Tinjdad before reaching the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, a paradise for rock climbers and nature lovers. Then, we’ll journey to the Dades Gorges, a geological
wonder with towering cliffs painted in vibrant hues. Spend the night surrounded by this breathtaking landscape.
Day 5: Dades Gorges to Marrakech
Our last day includes a scenic drive through the fragrant Rose Valley, known for its luxurious beauty products. We’ll visit Telouet, a historical fortress where caravans once met. Explore the kasbah’s
elaborate architecture, which speaks of the region’s rich history. After crossing the High Atlas Mountains one final time, we return to Marrakech.
