First stop: the Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s most iconic landmark. Although non-Muslims can’t enter, the exterior and its surrounding garden offer mesmerizing views.
From there, you walk through the narrow medina alleys to reach the Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture, with ornate courtyards, carved woodwork and peaceful gardens.
Just nearby are the Saadian Tombs, a hidden mausoleum filled with stunning tilework and history from the Saadian dynasty.
